6 to 8 year olds

Curriculum: Climbing safety, technique, games to promote balance and competition, communication, team building, all the fundamentals of beginning climbing. (This class is progressive based on previous climbing experience and classes previously taken)

9 to 11 Year Olds

Curriculum: top-rope climbing, movement technique, knotcraft, bouldering. (This class is progressive based on previous climbing experience and classes previously taken)

12 Years Old and Older

Curriculum: top-rope climbing, movement technique, knotcraft, bouldering, strategies to prepare for competition, mock lead climbing. (This class is progressive based on previous climbing experience and classes previously taken)

Three or More Class Discount (summer only)
Sign up for 3 classes at one time for a total of 3 weeks of climbing.

-What does my child need for this program?

ARG provides all necessary gear for the program such as climbing shoes and harnesses. Participants should bring a sack lunch or hearty snack and water bottle, or bring some pocket money to purchase them at ARG. We sell PowerAid, Water, Cliff Bars and Snickers and have a water fountain.

-How do I register?

Please call us at 512.416.9299 to register and reserve your spots for the summer sessions. Just let us know which date and which location you would like to enroll for. ARG requires a $75 deposit (refundable according to 72 hour terms) to secure campers' places in the programs.
