Troy
and Erica, with their awesome daughter Cooper, are the new
Owners at Austin Rock Gym. Troy is from El Paso where he cut
his teeth on the boulders of Hueco Tanks. His experience ranges
from running two other rock gyms to running a climbing program
at a youth camp in Arkansas. Erica, from Houston, has been
climbing since 2001. She loves climbing in New Mexico and
has traveled internationally. She is a full time mom and loves
hangin' out with Cooper. Troy and his wife Erica live in Georgetown
and are very psyched to be here working with the Austin Community.

Jason
Norris is the Portable Rock Wall Manager and North Gym Manager
at Austin Rock Gym. He comes to us by way of San Antonio and
the UTSA climbing wall and outdoor program. Jason has experience
with corporate team building, ropes/challenge courses and
indoor rock walls. Don't let the big hair scare you. Jason
will kill you with kindness and will do whatever it takes
to ensure your portable rock wall event is a success. Just
ask him about the weather at the 2006 Freescale Marathon.

Russell
is a rock climbing instructor. He comes to us from the Midwest
where he honed his slab climbing and technical footwork skills.
You will find Russell teaching our "South Gym 101"
class and crushing our "Adult Training Program"
members. He always has a smile on his face and is willing
to help anyone he can in any way they need.

Eric
Logue Sargeant is the South Gym Manager and has been at ARG
since 2002. This guy has it going on when it comes to music
and driving the girls crazy with his baby blues (despite this
picture). Be sure to check out his band "Phoenix Down"
who have become a regular attraction at the many bars of downtown
A-Town. Regardless of what's going on, Eric always seems to
greet you with a smile and a firm handshake and wishes you
well. I am sure you will some day soon see this guy on TV
accepting his Grammy.

Conrad
is ARG's head route setter. He is constantly challenging even
our strongest climbers on his test piece boulder problems
while at the same time setting interesting and unique problems.
Whether Conrad is climbing out at E-Rock or reading about
one of his many secret admirers in the Chronicle, Conrad approaches
life with a smile on his face and a rock in his hand.

Austin
Rock Gym has more high quality people helping the climbing community
become strong, knowledgeable, and active. Please say hello to
any of ARG's awesome crew and they will be more than happy to
hang with you!
